Grazing & Ranch Management Clinic

The Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust will be holding a grazing and management clinic on June 23, 2017, with the Sims Cattle Company in McFadden, Wyoming. The clinic will be limited to 30 attendees to ensure the personally catered experience for all attendees. Sims Cattle Company, LLC which is owned and operated by the Sims family is known for its use of holistic grazing and sustainable management to produce quality livestock in Southeast Wyoming’s harsh climate.

The clinic will include an educational ranch tour with Scott Sims and Derek Scasta, and presentations from Dallas Mount and Cat Urbigkit. Dallas Mount will be covering the financial aspect of sustainable practices and Cat Urbigkit will speak to predator management and the use of guardian dogs with both sheep and cattle. The clinic will end with a prime rib dinner and a short presentation on conservation easements.
