EASEMENT PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY

Each year WSGALT receives more requests for conservation easement purchases than we can fund.  This requires WSGALT to be selective about the projects it assumes.  The process of selling a conservation easement can be competitive and time consuming, and fund availability varies from region to region.  Applications are competitively reviewed each January through a ranking system.  Landowners will be informed about the success of their application by January 20th.
