2019 Monitoring Information
The Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust is about to begin its annual monitoring of conservation easements around the state. Annual monitoring is part of our obligation to you, as the landowner, and to the Land Trust Alliance, maintaining our good standing with the national group. The monitoring visit is a great time for you to meet staff, discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your conservation easement, and learn about what our monitoring process looks like.
Tentatively, the schedule for this year’s monitoring will look like this:
Laramie & Albany Counties: April 22-26
Lincoln, Uinta, & Fremont Counties: May 6-10
Hot Springs, Washakie, Big Horn, & Park Counties: May 27-31
Converse & Natrona Counties: June 10-14
Park & Fremont Counties: June 24-28
Carbon County: July 8-12
Johnson, Sheridan & Crook Counties: July 22-26
Sublette County: August 5-9
We understand that summertime is busy and schedules can change dramatically from week to week, and your assistance with these questions will help us get a better idea of summer schedules. The final dates and times will be set two weeks before the monitoring visit during a call with staff.
Approximately two weeks before each visit, stewardship staff will contact you to confirm the date and time of the visit and invite you along, if you are available. Until then, feel free to contact Travis at 307-772-8751 with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for your support of Wyoming’s agriculture and open spaces!
